Mary Jo was extremely organized and offered to connect us with individuals who could assist us with our move. She helped to arrange movers to temporarily relocate part of our family to stage one of our condos for sale and move back as well and hire stagers to ensure we had the best possible showing for our properties. The MoveSnap app was very helpful to keep us on track before our move as well to ensure everything was in order. These are just a few of the things that Mary Jo did that went above and beyond our expectations. What's so unique about Mary Jo is her willingness to meet you where you're at, to understand more about you as a person and what is important to you. When our mother passed away, we engaged Mary Jo Vradis to sell her condominium. MJ came to us via strong recommendation and it was the best decision we could have made. You are really good at combining friendship with business, every other person in this situation makes me feel uncomfortable but you express a genuine friendship and a prompt business delivery at the same time. Yet again, you managed to sell my house in such a short time while rivaling the current housing market. You managed to get me my asking price in a market where most properties are being sold 20-30k under asking price. The unit that was listed a few days after you sold my unit is still up for sale today (3 months later and still on the market). She took the time to understand what kind of home I wanted to buy, even though I wasn't really sure myself at the start of the process. My experience with you as my agent has been beyond satisfying, as well as impressive with the amount of effort you put into handling the hiccups of the sale of my old house as well and purchase of my new house. What stood out to me the most compared to my previous experience with other agents is how much you care about your responsibilities, and always looking for ways to help as possible. So, as with everything else in life, there are two kinds of Real Estate Agents; those who want to get their commission and are willing to help you out just enough to get it, and those who want to help you, and, as a side-effect earn their commission. That second type seems to be rare, but that's Mary Jo without a doubt. When you're dealing with her you have no doubt that her primary motivation is to take care of you. She's so easy to work with; well-informed and professional, she knows exactly how much communication is appropriate. I never felt pressured or neglected. That's a difficult line to walk. I would never consider using anyone else the next time I need to buy or sell a home, and I've been happy to recommend Mary Jo to one of my closest friends. Mary Jo is a gem! She is one of those rare agents who works for the client and not for the commission. She has, on more than one occasion, provided me with invaluable advice and support. Following her advice we looked at houses in a neighbourhood we hadn't considered. We ended up finding a house we loved. Mary Jo Vradis helped us buy our second house in 2011. After four lost bids we were feeling a little discouraged but MJ remained forever optimistic that the right house was just around the corner. When that house did present itself, I got cold feet. I was not prepared to put in the offer I knew was needed to get the house for fear of buyer’s remorse and getting caught up in another emotional bidding war. After a quick candid conversation on the phone with MJ, she quickly reassured me about the offer that was needed to get the house based on her knowledge of the market and the other four offers that we had lost.
